The Gods of Rap Tour featuring De La Soul, Wu Tang Clan and Public Enemy is coming to SSE Wembley Arena, London.
Hosted by DJ Premier at SSE Wembley Arena London, The Gods of Rap tour brings the ultomate legends of hip hop together on one stage.
Self styled Daisy Age collective De La Soul broke into the charts with their ‘Three Feet High and Rising Album‘ and the hits ‘Me, Myself and I‘ and ‘The Magic Number‘. Since then they’ve been releasing plenty of albums of their quality hip-hop.
Public Enemy fronted by Chuck D and Flava Flav are true originators of the hip hop sound, their classic album ‘It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back‘ is still hailed as an absolute classic. Along with albums such as ‘Fear of a Black Planet‘ and ‘Muse-Sick-n-Hour-Mess-Age‘ they’ve radically shaped hip hop politically and sonic-ally.
Wu Tang Clan scored major success with their genre busting ‘36 Chambers‘ album and comprised of Methodman, Raekwon, Redman, Ol Dirty Bastard (now sadly deceased), Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck and RZA. No news on which Wu Tangers will be at the show, but don’t miss out, book your tickets when they go on sale Friday 25 January 2019.
